Aging Skincare Tips to Look Years Younger

Have you ever bump into an old friend that you have not met for very long time and the first impression is, “Oh my god, you look the same as 5 years before! Do you ever age or grow old?”, “Is that you Mary? Time seem not to have any effect on you!”, or worst if this come from your kids; “She does not look like your classmate but more like your junior, 5 years junior!”.

You must be thinking to yourself, what has gone wrong with me…………………….. for some reasons, you age much faster than your friend.

Of course, there might be due to genetic factor which was beyond our control, but that does not mean that’s nothing you can do to slow down the aging process. You can’t defy the aging process, but you can fight the wrinkles and age spots that accompany them. There are instant methods to aging skincare such as skincare cosmetic or cosmetic surgery. We are not going to touch on cosmetic surgery here but briefly on skincare cosmetic.

There are plenty of skincare cosmetics for wrinkle remedies in the market, but I am only going to name a few. One of it is the cream that fill the crease of wrinkle or sealing it. So wrinkle will appear to be smoothened. Another wrinkle remedy is in the form of sticker. Before you retire to bed, stretch the skin where the wrinkle are and paste the sticker on it. The next morning just remove it and the wrinkle will disappear. Sadly to say, these cosmetics skincare remedies are all on temporary basis, the wrinkle will reappear when you remove the make up or, after few hours removing the sticker, wrinkle will just reform.

However, if you were to follow these steps, you will be able to keep your skin looking as young as you feel, on a long term basis.

UV ray from the sun will cause wrinkles and age spots on your skin. Always apply sunscreen with at least SPF of 15 which will effectively block the UV ray. Application of sunblock cream will be different for face and other parts of the body. Wearing long sleeve shirt or blouse, long pant or skirt and hat will even help to block the UV ray from causing damage to your skin.

Be more alert and aware of the ingredients in your anti aging skincare products. Avoid synthetic chemicals, fragrances and some irritating substances. Always choose the natural skincare products. Spend sometimes to read the label and ask question if you are not sure about the ingredients which will go the long way.

Use moisturizer for your face and lotion for hands and legs in the dry and cold environment. Maintaining the skin’s moisture balance is one of the important factor in aging skincare practices. The fact is wrinkle will look worse when compounded by dry skin.

Use the proper cleanser to clean your skin twice daily, especially the face which is more delicate. Alpha hydroxyl acids which are derived from fruit, milk or sugar has the bleaching and exfoliating effect on skin. Causing the surface skin cells to slough off, revealing newer, less damaged skin cells beneath. Always use natural toner to close the pores after cleansing and follow up with moisturizer.

During night time, it is advisable to use night cream as it is thicker. Avoid using day cream with SPF at night as added sunscreen ingredients can cause irritation or breakouts. For convenient sake, you can use face cream without SPF for both day and night and have a separate sunscreen layer applied during the day.

Watch your diet, reduce intake of oily and deep fried foods and increase the consumption of high fiber fruits and vegetables. Drink sufficient water in the day time but stop drinking water 2 hours before sleep to reduce water retention. Try to avoid staying up late putting more stress on your skin.

If you were to follow the above aging skincare tips strictly for weeks, you will notice the great difference on your physical appearance. The next time you bump into an old friend that you have met for a long time, your friend will prompt you with the same question; “You younger than before, can you share your aging skincare tips with me?” I am sure you will be more happy to do that.
